2010 3rd Quarter Utah Economic Forecast Survey Results

The third Quarter of 2010 finds that Utah executives have had to adapt their marketing strategies, but many still feel that they will increase spending next year. They sense apprehension in their customers. Overall, Utah executives feel that continuing the tax-cuts enacted during the Bush administration will benefit their companies and the economy, but they predict they will pass on the costs of health care to their employees. Through all the ups and downs in the economy, by a ratio of more than 3 to 1, more Utah executives continue to say they are optimistic about the financial futures of their companies than say they are pessimistic.
